Okay, first of all, let me introdue myself at here. I’m kahpeng, the person who sponsor hosting for this blog =) Actually i don’t wish to be guest blogger for this blog but i’ve installed gravatar plugin for desmond’s blog. I think himself also not sure how to explain, so i think i’ll do the explanation here.
First, let me show you which is gravatar enabled comment and which is not. Please refer back to desmond’s post about How to use “Shoutbox”? As you can see there’s 1 comment made by kahpeng and 1 comment made by anonymous. As for my comment, you can see my image beside my name and for anonymous, there’s a default picture for those don’t have gravatar accounts. The default image can be change from time to time, depends on desmond’s likings. As for now, i just use back the smae default image for my own blog =P
For wordpress, everytime you want to post a comment, you have to enter your name and email which is required or else you can’t post a comment. So, it’s just very simple, all you have to do is just sign up with gravatar, then upload your picture to their server and soon after they verify your picture, you can see your image everytime post comment to this blog or any other gravatar powered blogs. 1 word to describe gravatar, it’s universal. You can start sign up for your own gravatar here. After you signup, they will send a verification email to your email address you registered to confirm. After that, follow their steps and upload your picture and wait for verification coz they don’t allow you to upload p0rn pictures =P !! Haha…
