Hotlink Mini Reload Coupon

I went to Butterworth last week to finish up my assignment with KahPeng. After we had our meal that day I saw a mobile phone shop nearby, I wanted to buy a Hotlink RM10.00 reload card, since my wallet left a piece of RM10, no more small change.

As soon as the shopkeeper passed the card to me, in the other hand I hand over the cash to him.

Immediately I told the shopkeeper,

“Brother, you eat up my RM5 ar? I want a RM10 reload card and you give me half of the RM10 reload card.”

Then he look at me confusely and pointed to the card again…

Hotlink reload card

Eh? Since when Hotlink become so mini?!

Software Support

This caught my attention and thought I’d share with you….Is what is written here true, married ladies of the Chan Clan?

Dear Software Support,

Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and noticed a slow down in the overall performance, particularly in the flower and jewellery applications that had operated flawlessly under Boyfriend 5.0.

In addition, Husband 1.0 uninstalled many other valuable programs, such as Romance 9.5 and Personal Attention 6.5, but installed undesirable programs such as Formula One 5.0, NBA 3.0, Premier League, Counter-Strike and World Cup 2.0.

And now Conversation 8.0 no longer runs and House Cleaning 2.6 simply crashes the system.

I’ve tried running Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems, but to no avail.

What can I do?

Dear Desperate,

First keep in mind: Boyfriend 5.0 is and entertainment package , while Husband 1.0 is an operating system. Try entering the command
C:\ I THOUGHT YOU LOVED ME and download Tears 6.2 to install Guilt 3.0.

If all works as designed, Husband 1.0 should then automatically run the applications Jewellery 2.0 and Flowers 3.5.

But remember, over use can cause Husband 1.0 to default to Grumpy Silence 2.5, Happy Hour 7.0 or Late Night Out 6.1. And Late Night 6.1 is a very bad program that will create SnoringLoudly.wav files.

Whatever you do, DO NOT install Mother-in-Law 1.0 or reinstall another Boyfriend program. These are not supported applications and will crash Husband 1.0.

In summary, Husband 1.0 is a great program, but it does have a limited memory and cannot learn new applications quickly.

You might consider additional software to improve memory and performance. I personally recommend Hot Food 3.0 and Lingerie 6.9.

Good Luck,

Job Interview

I went to a job interview yesterday. The position I was applying call Internal Support. Some short like repairing PC, taking care of company networking, printers and more.

To be honest with you guys, I got screwed like hell during the interview. The interview was really trying to piss me off. He asked me some basic technical question and I gave him my answer. ?He was like “NO! Wrong! Is this the way you solve the problem?”.

ME: “…”

Interviewer: “Assume that I’m your customer, I call in: Hey, I press on the power button but my pc is totally blank, black out… Help me! What’s the problem?!”

ME: “Ermm.. Maybe is the cable problem you can try replace it with another power supply cable and see.”

Interviewer: “OK. (Second call) I walk around the whole IT department, at last I found a cable I change it, but it still cant work. ”

ME:”Ermm… you can try changing the Power supply in the PC.”

Interviewer: “Oh.. So you expect me to change the power supply myself?”

ME: “Eh? …”

Interviewer: “Ok, I’ll try. So I ask for a purchase order from the purchase department of my company issue a PO, buy one and replace it. And… It’s still not working out!”

ME: “…(Thinking.)”

Interviewer: “Hello? Anybody there???”

ME: “Ya… Maybe you should try changing the monitor, maybe is just the monitor broke down, none of your PC problem. ”

Interviewer: “Oh, so after 3rd call, 3 days I call in only you tell me that?!”

ME: “Eh…?”

Interviwer: “Basically you are just good in nth! You told me that you can troubleshoot hardware but I see nothing! What else are you good in??”

ME: “?!”

Interviewer : “Do you need me to tell you what to do? (OK) Firstly, can you please check out whether your power supply switch is on? If is on, please be sure u press on the power on button of your PC. If you did that and still nothing, you should try finding a monitor, change it see is it the monitor problem, if still not working out, then you change the power supply switch.”

ME: “(Wasn’t that I was telling ya exactly earlier? What the…!) Oooppss..Sorry. ”

Interviwer: “I see you got no trouble shooting skill at all!”

ME: “(Ya right..) I can’t say I’m very good in this, but I’m willing to learn.”

Interviwer: “Learn? We got no time for you to learn! You are suppose to know everything!”

ME: “(Then I should take over your place if I really know everything!) Sorry bout that.”

Interviewer: “You are taking out my lunch time for nothing. Anything else you want to ask? if not then that’s it.”

ME: “Errmm.. Ok, nothing much. Thanks.”

I think it was sucks. Damn! I;m good in nth… Wat the heck!

Later 6pm

“Is this Desmond?”

Me: “Yes.”

“We are offering you the job, you will start working on this July in AMD, are u ready to start your work?”

Oh my god! I actually get the job! Damn interviewer, scare my ass off!

Free Lunch?!

Embarrassing moment I had the day before. What? Nothing la… Went out eating without bringing my wallet can or not? Ya la… no money to pay for the food! Damn…

I took my pouch out and I thought my wallet was inside it… So after I ordered all my food when I wanna take out my wallet and…

Pouch
Eh?! What the…?! Where is my wallet???

I quickly ran back to my car and check is there any money in my car…

Money
Yeah! Got… RM2. WTF?! WHAT’S the USE?!

So, I just have to be honest with the auntie selling hokkien mee.

Me : Auntie, Wa boh gia lui beg out ( I didn’t bring my wallet ), sorry leh… I go back take money first… *(Most embarrased moment…)

Auntie : Oh… Beh yao gin la ( Never mind )… Makan dulu.. Later only you go back take and pay me… *(Wah! Lucky man…)

Me : Oh, thank you, thank you, thank you…

Close one! Good auntie… Haha! So in the end, after my meal I rushed back and take my wallet out and pay her. I even buy back another packet for my sister later.

Packet

The moral of the story is

Be honest when you got no money to pay for your food.
Keep MORE THAN RM2 in your car!!!

Nth “Special”

Last Saturday, I went to KL with my family to attend my counsin’s wedding. We spent 3 days 2 nights over there, come back on Monday since Monday is Labour Day, it was a public holiday.

Basically the whole journey was nothing special…

KL on the way

The agenda for this whole trip was quite tiring and stressing. You know wedding, you must help preparing, dinner and others… It was a very typical wedding so I guess there are not really much to talk about…

But there was an interesting story for the first night. My auntie rented an unit in an appartment for us to stay over for the first night. For your information, I was sleeping at the hall alone due to rooms not enough.

Room1
Room2
This was where I slept the first night…

The special thing began when everyone were asleep after having a very tiring long journey all the way from Penang. I was sleeping soundly as well at that time.

But suddenly I heard a noise, it was like the wooden main door open and close up! I heard that and immediately I woke up, opened my eyes and turned my head back and look around(I was afraid of some robbers and thief enter our unit). Ofcourse, there is nothing. So I thought maybe it was from outside neighbour and few seconds later, I slept off again…

The more interesting part began again! The second time I heard some noice(like the chair being push) again from behind, just behind my sofa! A set of dining table and chairs behind me, as you can see from the above photo.

I woke up again! And this time I’m sure, the sound was from behind me only! I quickly turned my head back and look around again! Nothing! Nothing there!!! I started to feel goose bump…

After sometime, I thought I shouldn’t stay out alone anymore, so I shifted my blanket and pillow into my parents’ room and sleep in there. I’m not the only one who felt that k? The next morning I told my mum about that and guess what?

My mum told me that my dad felt something pressing him as well when they were sleeping on the bed! My dad later woke up, he went to my sisters’ room and pray in there. My dad was worried, so he prayed in their room to prevent “something” disturbing them! What a coincident huh??

Oh well…That’s about the story cause the next day, we moved out to my cousin’s house to stay over.

The second night we went to my cousin’s wedding dinner. It was nothing special, like I said earlier, a very typical wedding dinner, so I did not plan to put up any of the photos here.

Although there ain’t something special, but we actually managed to take this photo…

Family
I love you all… =)

Truthfully, I’m so happy to able to take this photo with you all and able to spent a marvellous time together!

Well, that’s about it, we came back on Monday, the feeling coming back home again was good .

Home sweet home…
