Please beware of callers from Freedom Escapes. I answered my work switchboard at about 1pm today. And you know what? When it sounds too good to be true that’s because it is… I found them to be very pushy and manipulating. In fact, I kept trying to speak, explaining that I was at work and couldn’t be kept on the phone listening to their sales pitch about holiday accommodation at dirt cheat prices. Finally, I insisted that I had to get off the phone, thanked them for their call and hung up. Two minutes later they called again. I reiterated that I was not interested, politely of course. I kept saying “thank you but I’m not interested”. The caller kept insisting to explain their deal further. Eventually I had to say, “Excuse me, I have told you I am not interested and please do not call us again.”

Just received a phone call last night from an Andrew Jackson the so called floor manager for the eat & stay free promotion, the call wasn’t really for me I was at a mates place & enjoy taking the piss out of tele marketers, so with loud speaker on we sat around telling them were we wanted to stay in W.A knowing there wasn’t any accomadation, asking him some of the most stupid of questions, so we decided to throw in a town that we visit quite often & he rattled off a riverside appartment then we just twigged these appartments dont serve meals. We let him finish he asks for credit card details & after telling him there wasnt a hope in hell I was giving it to him he just wanted the expiry date so he could send out some information,I should have just given him one, due to I gave him a fony address & name after I thought it was a scam, that would have kept him tied up for a while trying to figure out my credit card details, so if you do get a call try to catch him out with a place you know because we knew you couldnt get accomadation where we wanted to go but he said he cane get us in on the christmas break for only $209 for fourteen days because christmas wasnt a peak period. ( what a tossa)
